Matching

We have a very careful match process to ensure mentors and mentees share common interests/hobbies and personalities. As much as this program is designed for the mentees, we want our mentors to have a great experience as well.

  • Mentor Acceptance
    • Once you have been approved and matched, you will receive an email with basic information about your mentee. At that time you have the right to accept or refuse the match.
  • Match Meeting
    • For U&I Mentoring, all match meetings will be supervised and occur at Atlantic Middle School.
    • For QARI Connects, your first match meeting will be scheduled by the program coordinator to take place at QARI. From then on, you will be free to schedule meetings at other locations and times.

PLEASE NOTE:  Unfortunately, sometimes we cannot match mentors or mentees who come to us, due to the number of applicants and different needs of the mentees. If we are unable to match you, it is not a reflection of who you are as a person or your abilities as a mentor.
